Finished 11/15/07 - First in a series. It's still otherworldy, but not vampish. Different, but I still liked it. I'll be starting on the next in the series soon... as in the next 30 mins or so.

I really loved this first book in the series too. Although I have to say that the series is not as good now...so I will be interested to see what you think of the rest of the series.
